Over Twenty Four LNP Officers End Week Long Capacity Training

The Liberia National Police in collaboration with the Swedish Police authority (SPA) have organized a five day capacity building workshop for officers of the Liberia National Police and members of the Community Watch Forum of Liberia.

The week long workshop brought together over twenty four LNP officers from across the country. The exercise which lasted from April 23, 2018 to April 27 respectively was intended to build the capacities of LNP officers in areas of community policing relations, identifying trends and the root causes of crimes in the Community, Community entry Strategies for good Community-Police Relations among others. The training is one of many Swedish Police Authority (SPA) initiatives in building the capacities of officers of the Liberia National Police.

Meanwhile, Deputy Police Inspector General for Administration, Col. Sadatu L. M. Reeves thanked the Government of Sweden for its continuous support to the Liberia National Police and called on the participants to use the lessons learnt in enhancing the operations of the Liberia National Police.
