LNP Declares Man Wanted for Murder
Monrovia, Liberia, March 30, 2018) The Liberia National Police has launched a massive search for a man identified as Fransuah Brown a resident of Thinker Village who has been identified as the prime suspect of the gruesome murder of a 52 year- old woman in Zoe-Wlor community, ELWA.
Joyce O. Joywheh was allegedly chopped on the forehead several times and slaughtered on March 24, 2018, at about 5:30 PM at her resident
During the police investigation, it was established that after the commission of the act, suspect Fransuah Brown absconded the scene with the victim’s vehicle and a generator.
Police have so far retrieved the vehicle and generator which are currently at the Zone eight (8) Police stations in Paynesville, while the deceased was turned over to the family for burial.
The LNP condemns the alleged act by suspect Fransuah Brown and termed the act as a gross violation of Chapter 14, section 14.1of the reversed penal code of the Republic of Liberia and called on the public to give information to the Police that will lead to the arrest of suspect Fransuah Brown. The LNP at the same time launched an immediate investigation into the recent mob action on Thursday, March 29, 2018, that led to the death of a 26- year- old man identified as Courage Swen in the J.J.Y, Gardnerville community.
Meanwhile, the Liberia National Police under the watchful eyes of Col. Patrick T. Sudue will not tolerate any form of violence that has the propensity to undermine the security of this state and urged the public to use the law as a means of seeking redress.
